Geraint Walker appointed Managing Director, Suzannah Kavanagh promoted to Finance Director as H.F. Owen strengthens its leadership team for the future.
H.F. Owen, North Wales' premier haulage company, is proud to announce the promotion of two key staff members to director-level roles, following a period of significant growth and success in 2024. Geraint Walker, aged 28, has been named the company’s new Managing Director, while Suzannah Kavanagh, 39, has been promoted to Finance Director.
Both Geraint and Suzannah have played pivotal roles in H.F. Owen’s recent successes, including the introduction of pallet networking through Pallet Track in the summer of 2023, and returning the haulage division to profitability in 2024. Their leadership and strategic vision have been essential to the company's transformation, ensuring continued high-quality service for customers across North Wales, the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
Geraint, who joined H.F. Owen five years ago as Transport Manager, has been instrumental in driving the company's business plan for change, focusing on improving operational efficiency and expanding service offerings. His promotion to Managing Director reflects his commitment to H.F. Owen’s growth and his ambition to lead the company into a new era of success.
Suzannah, who has been with the company for the same period as Financial Controller, has demonstrated exceptional vision and persistence through some very difficult periods of volatility. Her financial acumen has ensured stability and growth, guiding H.F. Owen with resilience and foresight.
